This GermanGothic harness is part of my 5th suit of armor built for Ordo Procinctus combat, and my third project in this style. It is crafted from Stainless steel with leather strapping.

Most of the eges are rolled, greatly increasing the strength of the plates. Many of the surfaces are peened again for strength. This harness also features much of the fluting so common to the German Gothic school of armoring. The gorget (neck guard) in this picture is from my old harness, I'm currently working on one to match this set.

Leg Harness

Great pauldren with riser

The backplate is largely inspired by the blankenshield design. It has an embossed channel over the spine in order to redistribute the force of spinal impact to the sides. The shoulderblades are also emboosed to allow for better movement.

Right spaulder with small riser.
