Fat Black Pussy Cat 2003 NOLA. It’s Kind of a dance party with an odd location and demographic. It’s held in some giant bank building in New Orleans on the corner of Barrone and common. This place is fucking incredible. Totally cherried out. 50 foot ceilings, marble floors and walls, gigantic greeco-roman pillars. The whole place reeks of lavish late Victorian opulence .I can’t imagine how much money was sunk into this building.OK, now you have that picture in your head. Add a Stage with bad ass remote lighting effects, slamming DJs, and half naked hot chicks in fetish gear grinding it like they mean it. This scene is populated by upwardly-mobiles in the late twenties, early thirties range. Most the ladies are strut’n their stuff in as little as legally possible.Drawback, I hear the tickets are rather expensive.I got in free with the magazine, so I’m not sure of the cost. I‘m pretty sure it’s an annual event, check it out if you get the chance.
