In 1994 I co-founded the armored combat group that would eventually be known as Ordo Procinctus, which I am currently the Magistrate of. Through this group, I am able to expose new people to martial philosophy and give forum and practice to those who are already interested. We are currently working with the Louisiana Ren-fest. The combat is fun, keeps me in shape, and improves my armorsmithing abilities. Working with a group of creative, honest, motivated people is also a great benefit.
