Ascension

I too was once a sheep in the flock, until coming to realize my own ignorance.

I looked at my fellow man and saw that he too was ignorant, and I reeled with dismay.

So I searched the lands and gardens and seeked out the tree of perspective.

I saw the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, and I took the fruit and I ate it.

The liquor of the fruit seared my mouth and eyes like one thousand needles.

And what I saw was painful.

But I saw.

I looked upon my brethren and they appeared to me now as the sheep they herded.

With no knowledge of their own majesty among the wonder of the heavens.

And when I ascended I left them in the fields with the other lesser creatures.

And I faced to the cardinal point of east, and said onto all ears that would hear.

I bend my knee before no belief.

For no belief is stronger than mine in myself.

And I faced to the cardinal point of west, and said onto all ears that would hear.

I bend my knee before no beast.

For no beast is a creator as I.

And I faced to the cardinal point of north, and said onto all ears that would hear.

I bend my knee before no man.

For no man is of greater value than me.

And I faced to the cardinal point of south, and said onto all ears that would hear.

I bend my knee before no God.

For no god exist and no redeemer livith.

Here and now is heaven - here and now is hell.

I am the creator.

And I looked once again at the fields and saw sheep and shepards as the same.

and I was pleased.
